The Norsat Satellite Locator is the easiest way to locate geostationary satellites on your mobile phone wherever you are. Just open the Satellite Finder app and point your screen at the sky to view a spatially accurate arc of satellites overlaid on your viewer. You can even customize the color of the satellite arc for easy viewing in different weather conditions. Use this app to point your Norsat or other satellite ground terminal, or just impress people with your keen knowledge of satellite locations.
The app includes an up to date almanac of satellite information, including azimuth, elevation, frequency and more. Just tap the name of the satellite of interest to open the almanac and find all the relevant details. The almanac can be easily edited, so you can make changes whenever necessary.

Works well with no stupid "purchase full version to get what you looking for popups". Does the job and satellite found and dish adjusted in no time. +5stars
Gives very detailed information. The customer service was very responsive, and helpful. Not 5 stars because I found sat finder lites database is more up to date for European satellites. Make sure you enable "Settings/privacy/location services/system
services/compass calibration" otherwise will not work.
Great app, just need an update so its compatible with the new iOS. Keeps crashing. Thanks for any help Dev team.

Some bad moments
Love the App - please update for the new IOS. Because right now its useless...
Every 2-3 days of using I need to reinstall app because of empty list of satellites. I just see red horizon line without any satellite on it.
Im on iOS 5.1.1 and all I get is a -1 on the screen .... No arc no sats
but the almanac seems to work
Great app!! Especially if space and satellites are your thing!
Good app. Used it to install an Exede system that I probably wouldnt have found line of sight without the app. In the past I would use Satellite AR on the Google Play store and this seems to work as well, if not better. Best free satellite finder app on the App Store!
If I had to pay for this APP I would. But considering it was free, I love it. It is not 100% accurate but we are looking for ballpark location anyway, right?? Great job guys.
